As a photographer, Teri most often uses real life images to create visual compositions. She is also a journalist and documents people, places, experiences, and art in nature. Her photographs have twice shown in Alaska Positive, a statewide juried exhibition of images by Alaskan photographers. Others have been published in Alaska Snowboarder's Journal, Alaskan Southeaster Magazine, Snowboard Magazine, and the Juneau Empire.

Teri's gallery showings include: Time for Rain, a solo exhibition at the Silverbow Back Room Gallery (2012); Out of the Rain: A Snapshot of Homelessness at KTOO Studios, Silverbow Back Room, and Glory Hole Shelter (2010); and Sketches in Light, a two-woman show at Juneau Arts and Humanities Council Gallery (2008).
